Xbox One review

Hey guys first off, sorry about not posting in a while.  I have another game review I'm working on, so be ready!  For today, I am reviewing the XBOX ONE.  The XBOX ONE has some pretty good features.  It is a great console and a big upgrade from the 360.  So let's jump right into it!

One of the best things about the new XBOX ONE is it has fantastic graphics.  I have played two games in it so far (I will be reviewing them), and so far the graphics have been really impressive.  They are beautiful.  Another great feature is the snap command/button.  Basically, it allows you to multitask.  When you're in game you can say "XBOX, snap", and it will pull up a list of apps you can "snap".  When you "snap" it shrinks the game screen a bit and pulls up a small rectangular screen on the side with that app.  Another of my favorite components is the gamerpics.  Being a guy who loves to customize his account, this is great because, 1. there are so many and 2. they are artistic and creative.  And of course, I have to mention the greatly improved Kinect.  The last model was okay, but now I want to use it for everything!  I use the face recognition to sign in.  You can also use it to navigate the menu.

Next the controller is great!  The feel of it is comfortable, and it is great for any game.  They have upgraded the triggers; they are bigger and can grip better.  The d-pad was also upgraded.  It is far improved from the twisting one they tried.  Each section is on a button and it clicks when you press it.

That is it for my XBOX ONE review.  I would give it a solid 8 out of 10.  I've really enjoyed it so far.  See you later and have a happy Thanksgiving!

GAMEFLY REVIEW

Hey guys welcome back to GZN.

Do you guys get sick and tired of paying $60.00 dollars on a new game that turns out to be crappy? You can't return it after you've played it, so all you can do is trade it in, at a huge loss.  A game rental company might be exactly what you need.

I use Gamefly and it is great because now I can get tons of games to review.  Here is how it works.  If there is a game you want to try out, you can just go online and put it in your instant GameQ.  If it's available, it will ship out within a few days and be delivered right to your mailbox.  If it's not available right away, they will ship the next game down on your list, so you're not without a game.  Pricing starts at about $15 a month.

That's pretty much it for this time. I am playing through two games right now so I hope I can get those reviews out soon! Summer is coming so I'll have more time then.  And actually, I have a surprise coming up so stay tuned.  Catch you later gamers.

Hosting your own Minecraft server. PC only

Hey gamers welcome back to GZN (Gamer Zone Newz).  Today we are going to talk about my experience hosting a Minecraft server, so lets jump right into it.

I have been with a couple of companies, but MC Power Hosting has been my favorite so far. The first reason I like them is you can update your server automatically with a few clicks of a button. Another company I used had it set up where you have to go in and do it manually.  The second reason I like them is that one time I was having trouble with my server and I put in a ticket and they responded within a couple of hours.  My problem was resolved the same day.

Now I'm going to talk about why it's fun to host your own server. One of the reasons is that you decide what you want your server to be like.  For instance, my server is creative/survival mode.  Also, you can control the griefers by either banning them or installing plugins that stop them, so you and your friends can play in peace.

Hosting your own server is not as expensive as you might think.  I pay about $10 a month.  Not a bad way to spend your allowance!

But the best part about having your own server is being able to get on and play with your friends, knowing it will just be you and them.

That's all for this week.  I'm playing through the new Gears Of War: Judgment, so I will be working on a review of that soon.  Be sure to visit our Facebook page and instagram for more GZN stuff.  See you later gamers.

Hey guys just to let you know that I have been having trouble with this company so i'm removing the link DO NOT CHECK MCPOWERHOSTING OUT.

Welcome to GZN! Here's the story.

Hey gamer enthusiasts.  Welcome to GZN (Gamer Zone Newz).  Here's the scoop on how I decided to start this blog.  One day I was on Instagram and I thought I would create a page where kids and all you gamers out there could see cool pics and get game reviews from a gamer-kid's perspective. I was telling my mom my idea, and was frustrated because I knew it would be a little hard to give reviews on Instagram, so she said "you need to start a blog".  I thought that was fun idea, so here we are!

Come follow me on Instagram (gamer_zone_newz ) and Facebook (Gamer Zone Newz).  There, you will be able to see when new posts are up and get behind the scenes pics.  Facebook and blog comments are the best way to leave me feedback.  If you have a suggestion for a game review or a question, or even a cool bit of information, let me know.  I will do my best to give an answer, or at least tell you my point of view.  I mainly will review games that I personally find interesting, hopefully you will too.

That's all for this week.  Come back next week when I will post about my experience hosting a Minecraft server. I will see you later gamers.
